The Challenge

Schools face rising energy costs and increasing pressure to meet sustainability and Net Zero targets. At Ascot Heath, the challenge was to design and install a compliant system that maximised the available flat roof space, worked seamlessly with the Bauder waterproofing system, and delivered long-term savings without disruption to school operations.

Our Solution

PV Plus designed and installed a system consisting of:

  • 153x Aiko 470W panels on Bauder mounting systems

  • A Solis commercial inverter to manage generation efficiently

  • Careful coordination with roofing and school staff to ensure works were carried out safely and with minimal disruption

  • Full compliance with MCS standards and integration with the existing building infrastructure

The Result

The 71.9kWp system generates approximately 68.6 MWh of clean energy per year, resulting in annual carbon savings of around 16 tonnes of CO₂. This installation provides Ascot Heath School with long-term protection against rising energy bills, while also contributing to the school’s sustainability goals and providing a visible learning tool for students.
