The Challenge
The client required a solar installation that avoided roof penetrations and worked within the structural limits of the existing flat roof. The system also needed to be carefully designed to fit the available roof space while maximising output and meeting DNO requirements.
Our Solution
PV Plus supplied and installed:
-
56 x JA Solar 505W panels (total 28.3kWp)
-
1 x Solis 30kW inverter
-
Esdec ballasted mounting system – a non-penetrative solution designed for flat roofs
The system was configured to optimise yield and ensure safe, efficient connection into the site’s electrical infrastructure.
The Result
The completed system will generate around 26.9 MWh of renewable electricity annually, reducing carbon emissions by approximately 6.3 tonnes each year. This will lower operating costs and contribute directly to the sustainability strategy of Oceana House.
