The Challenge

The project required careful planning to coordinate installations across four separate buildings within an active industrial estate.
Key considerations included:

• Managing logistics and access while minimising disruption to tenants.

• Designing each system to maximise generation while remaining structurally compliant and safe.

• Ensuring each building’s system could operate independently while forming part of a cohesive overall site strategy.

Our Solution

PV Plus delivered the works by:

• Installing 92 JA Solar 455W panels per building, totalling 368 panels across the site.

• Providing 1 x 30kW inverter per building to manage generation and ensure reliable performance.

• Using Esdec mounting systems to provide secure, durable trap roof installations.

• Phasing the work to maintain safe access and smooth operations for the businesses on site.

The Result

The combined installation has a total capacity of 167.44 kWp, producing approximately 160 MWh of clean energy annually.
This results in a carbon saving of around 37 tonnes of CO₂ per year, supporting the site’s sustainability targets while significantly reducing operational energy costs.
