The Assembly London
95.5kWp
Bauder Mount system System
Overview
PV Plus partnered with Elliotts Roofing to deliver solar PV installations across six residential blocks at a large Crest Nicholson development. The project combined multiple roof types, mounting systems, and inverter configurations, requiring careful planning and coordination with both Elliotts and the main developer to ensure seamless delivery.

The Challenge
The client required solar PV systems on each block to contribute towards the site’s sustainability targets and compliance requirements. Each roof area had to be optimised for available space, while ensuring safe installation and integration into the building’s electrical infrastructure. With multiple stakeholders and live construction deadlines, coordination was key.
Our Solution
PV Plus supplied and installed:
-
H1 – Rockhopper Court: 52 x panels, 1 x 20kW Solis inverter
-
H2 – Imperial Court: 36 x panels, 1 x 12kW Solis inverter
-
H3 – Emperor Court: 51 x panels, 1 x 20kW Solis inverter
-
H4 – Gentoo Court: 50 x panels, 1 x 20kW Solis inverter
-
H5 – Humboldt Court: 33 x panels, 1 x 12kW Solis inverter
-
H6 – King Court: 50 x panels, 1 x 20kW Solis inverter
Total: 272 panels, 6 x Solis inverters, Bauder mounting systems across all roofs.
The Result
The completed systems provide a combined installed capacity of 95.5 kWp, generating around 91 MWh of renewable energy each year and offsetting ~21 tonnes of CO₂ annually. Each block is now equipped with its own dedicated metered solar array, helping Crest Nicholson meet compliance standards while reducing long-term running costs for the development.
Why PV Plus
By working closely with Elliotts Roofing and the developer, PV Plus ensured smooth coordination across six separate roof areas. Our technical knowledge of Bauder mounting and Solis inverters, combined with efficient on-site delivery, meant the project was completed to the highest standard and integrated seamlessly into the overall build programme.
